Naneghat & Kukadeshwar Temple

Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range near Junnar in Pune district of Maharashtra, India. The pass was extensively used as a trade route between Kalyan and Junnar. The name ‘Nane’ means coin and ‘Ghat’ means mountain pass. This pass is traditionally known as ‘Naneghat’


Kukadeshwar Temple is located at the origin of river ‘Kukadi’. This temple was created around 12th Century CE. Though reconstructed it shows the original structure. The heritage Expert will provide you information related to the site and history attached to it.

Trip Schedule : Start at 7:00 am, Breakfast en-route , Tea Break, Visit Naneghat, Kukadeshwar, Lunch, Visit Temple at Ozar, Tea Break, return to Pune by 7:30 PM. Ongoing discussion with the Heritage Expert en route
